Department of Computer and Information Science

Our department is part of the Faculty of Information Technology, Mathematics and Electrical Engineering at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim, Norway.

We offer several Bachelor and Master programmes, compiled from a broad range of courses covering most areas of computer and information science. Learn more about our programmes and courses on the Education page.

20/08 - Disputation Muhammad Asif

18th of August, Muhammad Asif completed his trial lecture and thesis defense. He will eventually be awarded the PhD degree. Professor John Krogstie has supervised his PhD work at the Information Systems research group. Co-supervisors have been Professor Guttorm Sindre and Associate Professor Hallvard Trætteberg. 13/08 - Matriculation Ceremony 2014

Tuesday 12th of August the annual matriculation ceremony was held at Gløshaugen. This year's opening speech of the plenum ceremony was held by the Minister of EEA and EU Affairs, Vidar Helgesen. NTNU Rector, Gunnar Bovim then held his speech to the 7000 new students. [Full story...]
