The board of executives gives counsil to the Head of the Department, regarding the day to day management, while the department council advise the Head of the Department in a longtime perspective.

- Budget
- Issues of great strategical or principal importance
- The development of the department in relation to approved goals and objectives, and in context of the prevailing department strategies
