Note that IT3010 does not have an exam. This means you will not be questioned about any of the course material. But the exercises require that you read in depth some of the chapters in the book (and optionally some of the articles). The lectures provide an overview of both, so you should attend them in order to get an overview of the course syllabus.
Below is the material that will be used in Spring 2016:
- Text book: Researching Information Systems and Computing by Briony J Oates (Nov 18, 2005). Selected chapters from this book will be used during lectures and are used in the assignments.
- Optional research articles: An overview of all the articles is available in IT3010 Mendeley group. A PDF copy of the articles will be uploaded to itsLearning.
