Norwegian Science Week

The Norwegian Science Week (forskningsdagene) is a nationwide event held annually to bring research and science to the public. This year IDI was represented with two stands.

At the piksler på åpen vegg stand professor Letizia presented the Open Wall project. The students got to try hands on to create creative patterns on the Open Wall. When the students draw shapes on the laptop, the Open Wall up at IDI get updated realtime.

The computer museum at IDI had a stand called historisk datautstyr where students could learn more about the Norwegian computer history, and try a few old computer games. Graphics may be outdated, but the old computer game concepts still capture the attention of young students.
