Friday 25th of September, the annual Researchers' Night event was held at NTNU. More than 1450 high school students had signed up for an interesting night at the university; with stands, lectures, and lab excursions which presented some of the ongoing research at NTNU.
Researchers' Night is part of the Norwegian Science Week (forskningsdagene), which is a nationwide annual event held to bring research and science to the public. The Researchers' Night opened at 20:00 and fireworks marked the end around 23:30.
This year IDI was represented with three stands which represented some of the diversity of the research at our department. The three stands were: Professor Letizia Jaccheri and her ArTe - Art and Technology stand, Professor Keith Downing with his Neural-Controlled Robots stand, and Associate Professor Jo Skjermo with his Gjenskape fortiden med datagrafikk (Recreate the past with computer graphics) stand.
