Starting a New Health Informatics Cycle

Monday 8th of February 2010, marked a start for the 12 (and a half) new participants who start on the health informatics master programme. The programme is a co-operation between the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Information Technology, Mathematics and Electrical Engineering, and this is the 2nd year this programme is offered at NTNU.

The new participants were welcomed by the Head of the Department of Neuroscience, Professor  Lars Jacob Stovner (in photo). The participants come from very different backgrounds - 5 from IT and 7 from health care - and the programme aims to break down the barriers between the domains in order to develop better IT-systems.
