Disputation Birgit R. Krogstie

Monday 21st of June, Birgit R. Krogstie completed her trial lecture and thesis defence. She will eventually be awarded the PhD degree. Professor Monica Divitini has supervised Birgit's PhD work at the Software Engineering research group.

Birgit's PhD work was inter-disiplinary and crossed three different fields of expertice. The selection of committee members for the disputation were selected to reflect these fields.

As we want more women in Computer Science research it was a happy coincedence that almost all persons involved (the candidate, the supervisor, the administrator, and the members of the committee) were women.
