Voluntary Work for the Computer Museum

Voluntary Work for the Computer Museum

Interested in computer science history, and willing to sacrifice a few hours for the sake of NTNU's and Norway's computer history? If the answer is yes, then read on.

Friday 11th of March, Ola Nordal (our computer historian) will arrange an event where everyone who wants can come and do voluntary work for the computer museum. The event will take place from 16:30 - 18:30 on Friday. Afterwards there will be pizza at Peppes.

There will be a variety of tasks to complete - from fixing old computers, to moving computers and stuff into the museum. Old game consoles will be set up (and tested?). Tore Sinding Bekkedal will come from Oslo to try to give life to old relics from DEC and Norsk Data.

Pictures and more from the last event can be found on Ola Nordals blog. The event will be repeated every two weeks until the museum is up and running. Notify Ola Nordal if you plan to attend the event.

The Computer Museum is located in the basement of the south wing of IT-bygget (same building as auditorium F1). Gather outside of F1 before the event.
