The Dean of the IME Faculty, Arne Sølvberg, is one of the pioneers of information system modelling, and one of the co-founders of the international CAiSE conference. A book, Conceptual Modelling in Information Systems Engineering, has been written in his honour. It includes 20 contributions from renowned researchers, covering all aspects of conceptual modeling.
The book was until recently a secret, but on sunday 10th of June 2007 it was publicly announced by the editor John Krogstie. The announcement was made on the occasion of Arne Sølvberg’s 67th birthday, as the book was written in honour of his efforts in the research field.
The volume is published by Springer, and is now available.
