26th of May, Jon Espen Ingvaldsen completed his trial lecture and thesis defense. He will eventually be awarded the PhD degree. Professor Jon Atle Gulla supervised Jon's PhD work at the Information Systems research group. Professor Kjetil Nørvåg and Chief Engineer Steinar Carlsen have co-supervised the PhD work.
Jon's trial lecture was titled: Complex Event Processing (CEP): Concepts, methods, technologies and tools, examples of applications that rely on and may benefit from CEP and impacts of CEP on business processes.
