Disputation Min Shi

11th of Desember, Min Shi completed her trial lecture and thesis defense. She will eventually be awarded the PhD degree. Professor Keith Downing supervised Min's PhD work at the Intelligent Systems research group. The PhD work has been co-supervised by Professor Agnar Aamodt and Associate Professor Pinar Öztürk.

The committee appointed to evaluate her thesis, trial lecture and defense consisted of; Professor Peter J. Bentley, (University College London, UK), Professor Jim Tørresen (University of Oslo, Norway) and Associate Professor Heri Ramampiaro (NTNU). Heri Ramampiaro was the administrator of the committee.

Min's trial lecture was titled: Bio-inspired algorithms mimicking biological networks (other than neural networks) to create intelligence in computers.
