Computer Game Competition

Computer Game Competition

For almost two weeks this year's new students have been working in groups, making computer games. The teaching assistants nominated ten of the games for a final demonstration, and a student vote. The demonstration of the games marked the end of the Teknostart and Realstart events for the new students.

Escape from Dragvoll won the student's vote. It was created by Stupid Cat Productions (Michael Marszalek, Nikhil Luthra, Geir I. Kihle Hanssen, Stian Paulsen, Cai Helltun, Jon Kjetil Øye, and Ole Mikkel Sjølie) which appear in the photo.

Game Over

To run the game: Install Scratch and download the file Escape from Dragvoll which you open from the Scratch application.

Apple Theft Auto and Superhøna Turbo came in 2nd and 3rd place. The other nominated games were: Andy's Aquarium, Dance Trance 2008, Space, Tanks, Invation, Air Protector, and Super Zario Zos. Each member of the three best teams won NOK 500.
