The Art and Technology Village

The Art and Technology village in Experts in Teamwork (EiT) presented their projects on Wednesday this week. This year the EiT village cooperated with external partners; Adressa, Sintef and Sør-Trøndelag fylkeskommune, to create software for art as cultural heritage.

Four groups held presentations:

  • John’s diligent group presented CaptionCraft - an application for engaging with News
  • Team Platypus presented Storienteering - Combining storytelling and orienteering to create a more interactive, immersive and engaging experience when exploring cultural heritage.
  • Team Pentagon presented an application for exploring the Nidarosdomen, and
  • Shaggy Ridge group presented ImageTrap - an interactive installation for engaging people with News.

The village was headed by Research Scientist Ines Di Loreto, and initiated by Professor Letizia Jaccheri from our department.

Experts in Teamwork is a course in which students apply their academic competence in an interdisciplinary project to learn cooperative skills relevant for the real world. The Art and Technology village was internationally oriented, involving students from Russia, Germany, Norway, and Ethiopia.
