The Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Laboratory was opened on Friday 26th of April. The ceremony was an informal opportunity for NTNU, Sintef and Vegvesenet staff to meet and exchange ideas over cake and coffee. The lab cooperation also involves the Gemini centre for applied artificial intelligence.
Keith Downing announced that the lab's research will be present at the upcoming Researchers' Night event this autumn, displaying new intelligent traffic solutions.
Anders Kofod-Petersen honoured Pauline Haddow for establishing the collaboration with Vegvesenet. The collaboration was initiated by Agnar Aamodt, and Pauline Haddow fomalized it and followed it through, with help from Agnar.
