Disputation Rune Havnung Bakken

26th of August, Rune Havnung Bakken completed his trial lecture and thesis defense. He will eventually be awarded the PhD degree. Professor Torbjørn Skramstad supervised Rune's  PhD work at the Software Engineering research group. Associate Professor Jan H. Nilsen and Adjunct Associate Professor Bjørn Sæther have co-supervised the PhD work.

The committee appointed to evaluate his thesis, trial lecture and defense consisted of; Professor Thomas B. Moeslund (Aalborg University, Denmark), Professor Saïda Bouakaz (Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1, France) and Professor Richard E. Blake (NTNU). Richard E. Blake was also the administrator of the assessment committee.

Rune's trial lecture was titled: Social signal processing

He defended his PhD thesis:
