Magnus Lie Hetland Receives Teaching Award

Wednesday 28th of October, Associate Professor Magnus Lie Hetland won the Teaching Award 2008/2009 of the Faculty of Information Technology, Mathematics, and Electrical Engineering (IME).

Magnus Lie Hetland was awarded the Teaching Award for his dedication and accomplishments regarding teaching Algorithms and Datastructures, which is considered one of the most challenging courses offered at our department. Magnus is known for his ability to explain complicated concepts in an easily understandable way.

Magnus has also authored very popular books on Python programming which are used by Rice University and others. The Department is proud of Magnus' achievments!
