Nordic Collegiate Programming Contest 2024

Nordic Collegiate Programming Contest 2024

This weekend, the national part of the Nordic Collegiate Programming Contest (NCPC) 2014 took place at NTNU. This year 38 teams spent their Saturday at campus, programming, eating pizza and having fun.

A total of 290 teams from 24 universities competed at 22 different sites in 5 different countries in 4 different time zones. As usually it was a very good problem set which gave the students an exciting contest.

This year's top 3 NTNU student teams were:

  1. Kjøttdeig (Sortland Sondre, Barlaug Nils og Sund Arne Lyngstad)
  2. Ninjadev (Jensen Stian, Tønnessen Christoffer og Farstad Sigve Sebastian)
  3. Pornodyret Snadre (Kirkholt Melhus Martin, Husøy Tarjei og Thoresen Marius)

The three best students teams each solved 5 of the problems. The two best teams won a sponsored trip to the NWERC contest. The full score list.

The NCPC event was coordinated between several Nordic universities. All the five Nordic countries (Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden) participated at the same time, making it a true Nordic event. NCPC is part of the ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest.

The best teams from the NWERC event will be qualified for the World Championship in programming.
