On 5 Desember, Kai Olav Ellefsen completed his trial lecture and thesis defence. He will eventually be awarded the PhD degree. Professor Keith Downing has supervised his PhD work at the Intelligent Systems research group. Co-supervisors have been Professor Pauline Haddow and Professor Agnar Aamodt.
The committee appointed to assess his thesis, trial lecture and defence consisted of; Senior Lecturer John Bullinaria (The University of Birmingham, United Kingdom), Professor Tom Ziemke (University of Skovde, Sweden) and Associate Professor Gunnar Tufte (NTNU). Gunnar Tufte was also the administrator of the assessment committee.
