IDI Open 2015

On 25 April the IDI Open 2015 programming contest took place at NTNU. A total of 77 teams and 166 participants registered for the event. 44 teams and 93 participants competed at Gløshaugen, and the rest partook in the event from the University of Oslo and Aarhus University.

All competing teams managed to solve problem "I" of the 10 problems in the problem set this year. Problem "A" was only solved by one team - the one man student team >λ=. The overall winner for the competition was the offsite team DAIMI Oldboys Coding, which solved 9 problems.

The best onsite student teams:

  1. The Dangerous Hamsters (Nils Barlaug, Arne Sund, and Sondre Sortland)
  2. Ninjadev (Stian "stiaje" Jensen, Sigve Sebastian "sigveseb" Farstad, Aleksander "aleksanb" Burkow) 
  3. >λ= (Erik Rybakken)



  • Best first graders: 404 - Name not found
  • Best girl team: rosaElefanter
  • Best team name: Array Potter
  • Shotgun coding: Team Double D
  • Better safe than sorry: Respect the order
