Disputation Elena Parmiggiani

21 September, Elena Parmiggiani completed her trial lecture and thesis defence. She will eventually be awarded the PhD degree. Professor Eric Monteiro has supervised her PhD work at the Information Systems and Software Engineering (ISSE) research group. Co-supervisor have been Professor Jon Atle Gulla and Adjunct Professor Vidar Hepsø.

The committee appointed to assess his thesis, trial lecture and defence consisted of; Associate Professor Steven Jackson (Cornell University, USA), Professor Helena Karasti (Luleå University of Technology, Sweden), and Professor Dag Svanæs (NTNU). Dag Svanæs was also the administrator of the assessment committee.

Elena's trial lecture was titled: What Can Studies of Infrastructuring Learn from Participatory Design and Vice-Versa? (pdf)
