We are providing courses and performing research in the areas of
Datamining and Knowledge Discovery,
Knowledge Representation and Reasoning, Decision Support Systems,
Intelligent Agents, Knowledge-Based Synthesis of Software, Natural
Language Processing, Constraint Programming (planning and design),
Computational Biology, Case-based reasoning, Intelligent User Interfaces,
Flexible Learning, Image Understanding, Image Processing,
Computer Graphics, Visualization and Virtual Reality, Evolutionary Computation,
Artificial Life and Robotics, Neural Networks.
Our group consists of 15 permanent employees, 19 PhD students, and number
of graduate students. We have in disposision several laboratories:
Computer Vision and Robotics laboratory, Computational Biology and Artificial
Intelligence software laboratory, Learning laboratory and Video studio,
Collaboration-Interaction-Visulualisation meeting room,
small hardware workshop, and a computational cluster.
We are located at the 3rd floor of the IT-Vest building at NTNU Gløshaugen.
