About me

I am a software engineer at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Faculty of Medicine. Here is my CV.

Projects and products

I have a doctoral degree (doktor ingeniør) in computer science, based on OntoLog, a RDF-based metadatabase (digital library) for video and audio that I have developed in Java. My thesis is OntoLog: Flexible Management of Semantic Video Content Annotations.

Other Java applications I'm proud of are RelasJonsalgebra, a relational algebra program for Oracle (and other SQL databases, in theory) and Bondesjakk, a simple game I made as part of my studies in artificial intelligence.

I am currently working for HUNT, creating the infrastructure for their health studies. I use Dataphor, a really nice relational database. Recommended!

In my spare time, I eat, sleep, watch movies, read books, play, dance (currently lindy hop; previously ballroom, flamenco, and irish step) and sing and manage the web pages of my choir, A Cappellissimo. I also spend some time playing The Lord of the Rings Online.
