CV of Lasse Natvig (short version)

Lasse Natvig is Professor in Computer Architecture at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Trondheim, Norway, since 1997.

He received a siv.ing. (M.Sc.) degree in Computer Science in 1982, and a dr.ing. (Ph.D.) degree in Computer Science in 1991, both from The Norwegian Institute of Technology.

His main fields of competence are computer architecture, parallel algorithms, architectures and programming, theoretical models of parallel computation and simulation of computer systems.

1983--87: Development engineer at Tandberg Data, Oslo.
1987--90: PhD (dr.ing.) student at Department of computer systems and telematics (IDT), NTH (The Norwegian Institute of Technology).
1991->1997: Associate Professor at IDT, NTH.
1994--95: Head of the Department (IDT), NTH.
1993->96: Member of the Board, IDT.
1997->: Professor (computer architecture) at IDI, NTNU.
