Central to this village is the project ArTe. The vision of ArTe is disseminating IT issues to Norwegian and International teen-agers (13-15) with focus on creativity, cooperation, and openness of processes and content. ArTe is by nature a multisciplinary project at the intersection between Art and Information Technology (IT). Moreover ArTe has a pedagogical and dissemination dimention. Finally ArTe aims at exploiting open source software for humanitarian and political issues.

The village has been run in English in January 2010.

Required competence

We are looking for open minded students with a background in either arts and humanties, architecture, IT. We invite students with social sciences and philosofy background to enter the project to pose questions about the role of IT in the society.
