One of my dearest hobbies is photography. I've been engaged in taking photos since 1977 when I bought myself a Canon AE-1 camera for the money I got for my confirmation. Since then the activity, the image quality and the cameras has changed. Nowadays, I take almost all of my photos with digital cameras (Canon D1MII and Canon G10) but I've kept my film based Nikons (F90X) since nobody will buy them nowadays.
My photos
I've made some of my photos available on the web, most of them are scanned from slides or from negative film:
I have more family photos in my Family pages. However, to view these pages you need an user id and a password. Send email to roger_at_idi_ntnu_no (make the appropriate substitutions) if you know me (us) and would like to have access to these pages.
Photo resources
Phil Askey's Digital Photography Review is an exellent source for information about digital cameras. The forums at this site also provide a lot of valuable information if you are able to ignore the tons of uninteresting posts and qualified rubbish. Photo.net was a pioneer site in the early days of the WWW. Still a good place to visit for the photos but you have to miss the good old days when Philip Grenspun reigned.
In Norway, FOTO.NO is a very popular photo portal. Foto&Video and Xpress Digital are good internet shops which normally offer very competitive prices.
