Teaching

I'm teaching IT2103 Object-oriented system development and TDT2 Advanced, distributed systems in the autumn and TDT4145 Data modelling and database management systems in the spring.

General

I'm employed as a professor in distributed systems at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim.

My main research interests are within highly available and scalable distributed systems. I worked for a decade with high availability and scalability within the Clustra DBMS. Currently, I'm working on combining P2P systems and databases. I'm also working on database internals and performance.

I'm working with Sun Microsystems in Trondheim. Usually, I'm at Sun Wednesdays.
