BusTUC is developed by Jon S Bratseth as a student project at NTNU. It is built on TUC (The Understanding Computer), a general natural language system developed by Tore Amble. Both systems are written entirely in Sicstus Prolog.
The BusTUC project is a part of the TABOR (Speech based interfaces and reasoning systems) project which aims at making a system capable of answering bus route questions posed with normal speech through telephone.
