I have received the BSc and MSc degrees from the Department of Computer Science and Telecommunications of University of Athens in 2001 and 2003 respectively. I received my PhD in 2008 entitled "Efficient Query Processing over Highly Distributed Data" from the Athens University of Economics and Business. Thereafter, I was a post-doctoral researcher under an ERCIM "Alain Bensoussan" fellowship in the database research group of Prof.Kjetil Nørvåg at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). My main research interests include large-scale data management systems and query operators for business analysis.
